Mistress Ermengarde's Seamstress Tasks
There are two levels of Seamstress apprentices. These are broken up as "Apprentice" and "Student." The Apprentice is a personal apprentice to Mistress Ermengarde. The Student is a student of one of the Apprentices.
Tasks Once becoming Mistress Ermegarde's Personal Apprentice
1. Choose two students and have them approved by Mistress or the Lead Apprentice.
2. Tailor and Dye 20 items of clothing for you and Mistress or the Lead Apprentice to discuss.
3. Write a paper (one scroll) on the Importance of Clothing.
4. Have a discussion with Mistress or the Lead Apprentice about clothing and rank. Ensure knowledge of proper distribution of clothing to the appropriate people.
5. Promise to only teach personal students tailoring/seamtressing skills as well as to follow all guidelines.
Tasks for an Apprentice to go to Fellowcraft in a Skill
1. Teach students to apprentice level in that skill.
2. Write a book (all 16 pages) on a topic related to that skill.
3. Have Mistress or Lead Apprentice speak to Apprentice's students to ensure proper teaching/learning.
4. Have a discussion with Mistress or the Lead Apprentice about the importance of luxury items (fabrics/dyes) and their distribution.
5. Take the Oath of Seamstress/Tailor for that skill Oath (Currently).
"I, Tailoring Apprentice [NAME], do solemnly swear...With all my soul, upon this most auspicious of the Master clothing catalog...To hereby and always for as long as I may weild the noble needle and steely scissors....To uphold the standards taught to me irresolutely, and to serve Her Majesty to the utmost of my skills with dignity, honor, and loyalty till the ends of time.
Tasks for an Apprentice to go to Journeyman+ in a Skill
1. Write a book on a topic related to that skill. This topic is preferred to "invent" something new for that topic. For example, a new color or set of colors for dyer or a new fabric or fit for tailor. Most importantly, Mistress Ermengarde or the Lead Apprentice is to approve the topic.
2. Hold a lecture for the seamstresses on the new color, fabric, fit, topic.

Tasks for a Student to go to Senior Apprentice in a Skill
1. Their Apprentice must be at least Journeyman level in that skill.
2. The student must be Apprentice in Tailor, Dyer and their Specialty.
3. Write a paper (one scroll) on the Importance of Clothing. Once that is accepted by their Apprentice, they may move onto the specific tasks for the skill to be raised.
4. Write a paper (one scroll) on the skill that is being learned.
5. Have a discussion with Mistress or the Lead Apprentice about clothing and rank. Ensure knowledge of proper distribution of clothing to the appropriate people.
6. Promise to not teach anyone this level of tailor/dyer/etc skill.
NOTE: This is as far as an Apprentice Seamstress' student can go. Period. Senior Apprentice in Tailor, Dyer and their Specialty.
