Description: Our protagonist. He's a pretty mild-mannered guy, mostly. He can get angry over a few things, but not much. He often overreacts—intentionally—to situations for fun, and in battles to unnerve his opponents. He's also the story's resident bishounen* and is sometimes mistaken for a girl. He takes this well and often with a good injection of his own humour. Plus, he takes a liking to a certain Eeveelution trainer, but he's too shy to say anything, so he just sends random signals out and prays Tschel picks up on them. Actually, he can be pretty shy in general when it comes to interacting with people on a level above the professional level. But that's why he's the type that the fangirls love.





Bishounen is the Japanese word for prettyboy. It's often characterized in animé by the character in question looking and in some cases acting like a girl. Fangirls tend to love them.
