Widescreen
Windows
Want
more viewable area or want to get a Widescreen
version of Windows? Follow these steps. Bear in
mind that this tip only works if your graphics
card can support it.
- First
right click an empty area of the desktop and
select properties.

- Now
in the Display Properties Box click the Settings
tab. Then search for the screen area part and
then drag it up to the resolution of 1280 x
720

- Now
you will be alerted that your monitor may flicker
after you change the resolution. If yours should
suffer this symptom then leave the PC for 15
seconds and it will revert back to the existing
resolution.

- If
all is successful then your screen will look
like below. If you like the resolution, then
click Yes, otherwise click No or don't touch
anything for 15 seconds. Bear in mind that the
screenshot below is scaled down to a ratio of
1:2. Your image wont be like below and its more
likely that the image will look thin. All you
need to do is adjust the vertical size as low
as possible until the screen looks proporitonal.
