Protecting my baby Pea Plants from

The Rabbits!!

The Battle of the Bunnies begins!!
The Bunny feast fest has officially opened!
Spring is here and again I am faced with my plant babies
being eaten as fast as they come up out of the ground!
I have been using 5' tall welded wire fencing cut 40" long
as a frame for my rowcover for a few years now.  It works
very well for that.  I also have some that is cut, but not
covered with the rowcover.  I have used that over plants
that bunnies like.  But, with the peas, I was at a loose as
to how to cover them to protect them from the bunnies
because of the fence support that I plant them with.
I have come up with a solution.  I use the welded wire
frames hooked on each side of the wire fence support.
I added a piece of fencing at each end to keep them from
entering that way!  The fence on the ends is not shown in
the picture above.
Let see who wins this battle now!

For Frost and Critter Protection

This is 5' welded wire fencing cut 40" long leaving
some feet to stick in the ground when you cut it.

Here it is with the row cover attached so you can
open or close it for frost or sun protection.
The red represents string that the row cover slides
under so you can have it open or closed.
