One God

Humm!!
For man it is a strange concept that God always was, is and will be forever more but that's exactly what God told his servants. God wasn't created as God has always been and uses this simple title for his name 'I AM' to indicate his eternal presence. God tells Isaiah that there is only one God simply by saying before God there was no god and after God there will be no other god for God is the great 'I AM'. Mankind arrived at the conclusion that energy is neither created nor destroyed but changes from one form to another which in truth speaks of the essence of God.

Three powers were present at creation which were God, the Spirit of God and the power of God's spoken Word.

These verses seem to indicate that there is more then one God since they use plural forms such as 'us' and 'our'.

Again in the above verse we see evidence of God in plural forms, in that firstly it was God who was there from the time it came to be and then it goes on to say that the LOrd God has sent me and His Spirit. It was the Word,"Jesus" who Has not spoken in secret, who was sent by the Lord God(Father) and His Holy Spirit.

Time and time again were told in the bible that there is only one God so how should we think of God; if the Father is God, Jesus(the Word) is God and the Holy Spirt is God but there is only one God? The best example of this relationship that I can give is of this photo shown below.

From 1John 5:7 it could not be clearer that God is the Father, God is Jesus, God is the Holy Ghost but there is only one God. The Word came from God and became flesh in human form in the man called "Jesus" which means "Jehovah is salvation"(God saves) and "the Christ" which means "the anointed", also known as "Immanuel" which means "God with us" or "with us is God" and other names that testify to who he is. Since the Word came from God then God was the Father of the Word in other words, God the Word came from God the Father in human form to us as 'Jesus the Son of God'. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

Jesus is God's Sim who brings the Godly experience to us Sims and the Sims experience to God.

God's Spirit makes us a part of Jesus who makes us sons because Jesus is the Father son and therefore heir to the kingdom of God and that is only by faith in Jesus who paid the price for our sin against God.

By rejecting our Lord Jesus then our link to God is gone and every last evil deed we have ever committed will be on our own heads.

Since your body is God's temple then why allow it to become messed up with sin?

MATTHEW 22:37-40

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Humm!!
Our love for God or our neighbor is far from perfect but it is important to give it our best as God gave us his best in Jesus who died for our sins.

MATTHEW 6:14-15

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Humm!! If you don't forgive others then God will not forgive you.

JOHN 16:7-15

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

MATTHEW 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Jesus commands us to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, in other words, in the name of the true God. Jesus wants mankind to be a part of the kingdom of God by been baptized into it and obeying his teaching which draw us closer to God, the people of God and the kingdom of God. To fully understand how guilty of sin we all are and how much we all needed Jesus to die for our sins taking away our punishment then we need look no further then the ten commandments of God.

Ten Commandments(Deuteronomy 5:7-21)

....I You shall have no other gods before me.
-1 Corinthians 10:20-21
No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be partners with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

(Anything that takes the place of God is your god.)

...II You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
-Romans 1:25
Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.

( Things are not God, so they should not be worshipped or taught to be worshipped.)

..III You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. -Jude 9:8-10
In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals; these are the very things that destroy them.

(How often is Jesus, Christ, Holy ,God used as swear word?)

..IV Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor the alien within your gates, so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.
-Romans 1:28- 32
When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God’s death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

(It used to be that their was one day that people could refocus on God but not anymore- business is 7 days a week. There is a price to pay for ignoring God in that people start stumbling around in the darkness of sin until what is holy becomes unholy and what was evil becomes good.Every day you live, should be treated like a holy day but one day a week should be set aside to worship God but is it?)

...V Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
- Matthew 15:4-9
For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’ he is not to ‘honor his father’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’

(Respect should be given to your elders but is it?
Something worse then not supporting your parents physically or financially in their need for whatever lame reason, is this trend of adult children who abuse them and take what little they do have in the first place. Every child owes their parents their life as humanity owes God for all of creation and a little returned love is NOT a big ask. )

..VI You shall not murder. -Revelation 17:8 And the inhabitants of the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world-
(Notice it says from the foundation of the world so every life has been planned from the beginning. Killing THE UNBORN is very much murder. So why are peoples names not written in the book of life?)

-Revelation 3:5 If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels-
ALSO
-Psalm 69:27-29
Add guilt to their guilt;
may they have no acquittal from you.Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; let them not be enrolled among the righteous.But I am lowly and in pain;let your salvation, O God, protect me.

(Because they have been taken out of that Book of Life so what happens to them?)

-Revelation 20:12-15
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

(Even by thinking "I wish he was dead." you committed murder in your heart.)

.VII You shall not commit adultery.
-Matthew 5:27-30 You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
(Modern society is been constantly polluted by pornography through the mass media and the internet. Pornography is so freely available now that sex education starts as soon as a child is born. The fruits of this poison is shown up in the mess of our relationships with each other, the coldness and loneliness, the untold number of murdered unborn and sexual assaults. Lusting and/or having sex with somebody who is not your husband/ wife is ADULTERY.)

VIII You shall not steal.
-Amos 5:11-12
You trample the poor and steal what little they have through taxes and unfair rent. Therefore, you will never live in the beautiful stone houses you are building. You will never drink wine from the lush vineyards you are planting. For I know the vast number of your sins and rebellions. You oppress good people by taking bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts.

(One tenth of everything you earn is God's, to be used for all good works, but on the whole it doesn't happen. This stealing robs the poor from even having enought to eat. )

You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

-Deuteronomy 19:15-20 Never convict anyone of a crime on the testimony of just one witness. The facts of the case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. If a malicious witness comes forward and accuses someone of a crime, then both the accuser and accused must appear before the priests and judges who are on duty before the Lord. They must be closely questioned, and if the accuser is found to be lying, the accuser will receive the punishment intended for the accused. In this way, you will cleanse such evil from among you. Those who hear about it will be afraid to do such an evil thing again.

(This verse is a good example of what should happen to those that accuse others on suspicion without fact. It would make everyone a lot more careful about their accusations if they received the penality for those crimes they accused others of, if it were proven to be wrong.)

...X "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor's house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor." -Psalm 37:7-13
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret, it leads only to evil.
For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.
But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.

The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them;
but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.

(Covetting is scheming to get something that's not yours)

By breaking even one single commandment ever, our punishment is death from God because God is a holy God and there is no evil in God so that anything that is evil is destroyed because of God's holiness but because Jesus took our punishment for evil he is our shield from God's wrath as those that are His, have been paid for in full through his death.

So then how should we pray?

MATTHEW 6:9-13

"This, then, is how you should pray: "

'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
