This is my entrance ticket to the famous Kaiserkeller in 36 Grosse Freiheit

This is me inside (it was pitch dark)

And me in front of the Cafe Yesterday, built on the site of the old Star Club

In 36 Grosse Freiheit (it's a small street off the Reeperbahn, the main street of the St. Pauli ditrict) there are two clubs: one big on the ground floor, called the Grosse Freiheit where only special parties and concerts take place and the actual Kaiserkeller, which is downstairs, on a rather small space, but with the original scene preserved all right.
When I was there (first time) they had an 'alternative/hard rock' night with a DJ playing records by bands like Placebo, Radiohead, Creed, Green Day, etc. The other time they played 60s/70s/80s music, with some good and some poor choices. Like imagine Patti Smith next to some 80s poppeline (as we call it in Poland). But it was like that.
In the Grosse Freiheit the music (when there's a disco party) is much worse, only pop/ contemporary hits and a little hip-hop, but often they have live bands from abroad. Like they once had the Cardigans. That's about all about the clubs for now. When I remember more, I'll put it here as well.
