The movie was based in the 1950's and dealt with the House Un-American Activities plot. There was a pursuit but a subtle one. Amnesia put Jim Carrey in a strange situation, as an identical to Martin Landau's missing son. The movie was very uplifting, and light hearted and had no offensive language or violence and everyone was dressed conservatively. The movie did not end the way I would have liked, but it was very pleasant to watch. We saw it on Christmas Day after our family had all gone to in-law's for afteroon.
