I have found someone willing to produce a video on injured workers and their families from our view point. It would not be a documentary. It would just be a video showing the lives of injured workers. It will be done tastefully.

I plan on using this to show to the legislature and the media in hopes of getting reform and more media coverage on the comp system.

What I need from you is pictures of you and your family both before and after your injury if possible. I need natural pictures showing you in the good times and the bad, when you feel well and when you don't. Pictures that show what you go through each day. If you have an old picture of you on your job and before your injury please send that.

If your lifestyle has changed as a result of your injury I need pictures of your old lifestyle and your new lifestyle as a result of your financial and physical circumstances. If you are homeless, living at a shelter or in a car please send me that.

I need pictures of both you and your family. If you are no longer able to hold your children due to a work injury, send me a picture of you holding your child before your injury and tell me why you can't anymore.

With these pictures I need the date of your injury, how you were injured, and your present status with comp. Also if you have become permanently disabled as a result of comp taking so long to get you to a doctor or the treatment you needed I need to know that.

I want pictures of you in your doctors offices and in the hospital if possible. This video has to make a strong impact on those who watch it.

The pictures you send will go into the video but you can choose to have your name in the video or be anonymous. We can use your pictures and leave your name off if you prefer. I need you to send a note with your pictures either giving VOICES permission to use your name in the video or telling us to keep your name anonymous.

I need to know of all your losses as a result of your injury both physical and financial. I need to know if your marriage has broken up as a result of the stress in the comp system.

Anyone can send a video from any state. We all know that comp is a universal problem and what we are trying to do here is show in pictures how devastating a life in comp can be. Sometimes pictures speak louder than words.

If you can, send me digital pictures through email. If you cannot do that, then send regular pictures and we can still use them in the video.
