I am 19 years of age. I live in SA, Australia & am currently attending an adult re-entry college. I consider myself to be a modern day Socrates; I never assume things and I am very open minded. I am trying to fight the dividation between gays & hetrosexuals and whites & blacks, etc. I have a few medical problems which have drastically effected my life, and helped mould me into the person I am today. I have Asthma, Scoliosis, Coeliac Disease and Friedreich's Ataxia. The last two listed are probly the most seriolus and annoying. Coeliac Disease isn't really a disease; it means I have an intollerance to gluten which is a natural protein found in wheat. The only treatment for this is to avoid all foods that contain gluten, and believe me, it's not easy. Friedreich's is a rare disorder similar to Muscular Dystrophy. There is no treatment or cure, but I get by. I am a gay man, although I use the term PSSR (Prefers Same Sex Relasionships). I use that term because the term gay implies so many things which I am not, and it also creates a border between heterosexual (POSR) and homosexual people when there is no difference. We are all people. I am out to most people, I dont walk around saying, "I'm gay! I'm gay!" So I've led an interesting life. My goals for the future are a bit mixed up at the moment. I've always had a love for writing stories and poetry so I'm looking into that. I've also loved singing, but only recently I realised it's an obtainable goal. I'll get there. |
