Results (1-2 paragraphs)
According to Table 1, the Petri dishes containing only Luria Broth (without pGLO) all resulted in the growth of lawns, regardless of heat shock temperatures. The plates containing Luria Broth and ampicillin resulted in no growth at any of the temperatures.  In the plates containing the pGLO plasmid and ampicillin, an average of 9 colonies was seen on the 27 degree Celsius plate. At 45 degrees, an average of 261 colonies were counted, while the 57 degree plates had an average of 34 colonies per plate. None of the colonies on these plates exhibited glowing.
On the plates containing pGLO, luria broth, ampicillin, and arabinose, the total number of colonies counted were 7, 146, and 87 per plate at the temperatures of 27, 42, and 57 degrees, respectively. All of the colonies seen on these plates were glowing under the UV light.

Discussion (1-2 pages)
Explaining results…what do they mean?
Why did we get a lawn on –pGLO with no ampicillin, but no growth on the one with ampicillin?
Why were the bacteria with pGLO able to grow on ampicillin while the ones without pGLO could not?
Why were the bacteria with arabinose able to glow while the ones without not able to?
Why did 42 degrees have the greatest number of colonies, compared to 27 and 57 degrees?
Discuss any errors that may have affected the results.
Compare your results to your original hypothesis…explain any differences.
What does your data mean to the world? Apply to?
Do your results agree/disagree with background info you discussed in your intro?
