Breathing a huge sigh of relief, I take Will's arm, only stopping for a moment to unbuckle the hideous shoes, kicking them off. A grateful moan spills from my lips and I slide down to a relatively normal height once my barefeet touch the ground. I can't even describe how much better it feels to be rid of the damn things, and I sit them on the patio chair, tossing a satisfied grin at Fangy as reclaim Will's arm and head inside.

We pass the kitchen, where I suppress a shudder as Grim's eyes catch me, and I speed up, almost tugging Will along. He gives me a sly smile, as if he knows the source of my discomfort and merely adjusts his stride to mine. I wave at Shelby and Lin, and blows kisses at Peirce as he streaks by, headed for the dreaded Jello.

Passing through the dining and living rooms, we both chat and smile at people we know, my eyes catching several people and bots that I'd yet to meet. Apparantly, my lil snafu in the backyard had caused me to miss quite a few arrivals. Reaching the door, Will settles in the big overstuffed chair closest to it and I busy myself trying to arrange the now almost non existant dress so I'm not flashing anyone.

I look down at the sound of a muffled chuckle, and give Will a dirty look. He tugs on my arm and I squeeze my rear onto the chair next to him, draping my long legs half over his to keep from giving the next person who enters a eyeful. I fall into easy conversation with Will, completely ignoring everything around me as I'm wont to do in his presence.

The door opens and I don't even notice until a foot taps mine. I look up and see Gelus smirking at me and I blink.

"Well at least we know you're not hiding anything paddle shaped under that dress," he says, winking.

I turn bright red and reply,"You never know where I'm hiding something."

He laughs and gives Will a nod, then follows Py off into the crowd.

Will gives me a curious look, and I shurg. "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. You want to find out?"

His blush makes me giggle and I go back to watching the door for the next arrival.
