Deli's Excellent Adventures, Pt 3: Fangy

I sat on Charley's lap, typing away as he surreptitiously groped here and there. Suddenly, my grin widened as a familiar name popped onto my contacts list. I grin broadly, leaning back against Charley and he rolls his eyes.

"I know what that smile means," he said wryly. "I've seen it before." I look at him quizzically and he sighs. "It means Fangy's on his way, right?"

I nod excitedly, but the look in his eyes gives me pause. I type off a quick couple of things to Lin, and sign off as she promises to send Fangy after he cleans up the kitchen at her place.

Turning in Charley's lap, I give him a devious grin. "We got some time. Wanna take the grand tour?"

His eyes meet mine, and he growls softly. "Yeah. I think there are a few things I've got a yen to see."

I giggle, jumping up and tearing off down the hall, and he gives chase. I know he'll catch me eventually, but that was the point, wasn't it?

Much later, after taking a very long shower, I'm slipping into my choice of apparel. A check on the computer verifies that Fangy is on his way, and I'm getting ready. Charley's grumbling something about special preparation for the old SOC, and I give him an exasperated look.

"You know, you'd think you'd feel plenty special after all that-"

He grins wickedly, waiting for me to finish the sentence. When I don't, he rolls his eyes and spins me around to help me with the tiny zipper. He lifts his hands, and spins me around, taking in the ensemble with a careful eye. "Where are the heels?"

"I am not wearing those heels on this carpet. End of story." He pouts and I roll my eyes. "You do realize I'm not as fun in a body cast, right?"

"Oh, I don't know about that… Somehow, I doubt even a body cast could hamper you, pet."

I giggle, stretching up to the mirror to examine my makeup. Satisfied it's no longer smeared all over my face, I pick up the bow tie and being struggling to fasten it. His hands cover mine, and magically, the collar is fastened with ease. I blush, and turn to thank him. "Thanks, I mean, I don't normally… see, Raj usually… Oh hell."

He smirks. "I just be he does. Have trouble getting the cuffs on yourself, too?" he says, his eyes falling to the fresh bruises on my wrists.

I smirk back at him. "No, normally I don't worry about that. They seem to find their way on with little to no effort, as you know."

T interrupts our sparring with a distinctly unrepentant look on his face. "There's someone at the door…"

"Oooh! Go down first, grab Asmara, and wait for me. I wanna surprise him."

Charley looks at T and they simultaneously roll their eyes. I'm beginning to wonder if this is programmed into all the bots as I've been on the receiving end of it a lot lately.

I check once more in the mirror, making sure everything is perfect, then tiptoe down the stairs, peeking around the corner of the living room and giving T the thumbs up sign. Asmara glides over to the door, poised to open it as Fangy bangs on it impatiently.

The anticipation makes everyone in the room exchange smiles and Asmara finally opens the door. She pulls it open to find a smirking Fangy, and lets him in, quickly skittering away. He looks around in puzzlement, about to ask where I am, as I come barreling in, a flash of red hair and black leather that knocks him to the floor and pins him there.

He grins up at me, and plants a kiss on the tip of my nose. "Well, that was different." I nods, leaning over to whisper something in his ear and he grins. "Really? Me?"

I nod again, the ears on my head flopping about with my enthusiasm.

He looks up finally catching on what I'm wearing. "Oh, pet for me?"

I blush and nod. The bots snicker, and I turn to give them a wry look, before trying to get up.

A steely grip holds my arms, and I cock my head to side in curiosity. "What?"

"I think I like you just fine where you were," he says, yanking me back down.

"You were saying something about a long time..." I reply breathlessly.

Trouble rolls his eyes and takes Asmara's hand, motioning to Charley. "Trust me, this could take awhile."

Asmara nods, looking at Charley. "They like to dance. Can we go play in the grass?"

Trouble nods, and they head off, knowing Fangy and I are nearly oblivious to anything going on around us as we stare at each other.
I raise my head and smile at him softly. "Maybe I did miss you, too," I says and wink.

His chuckle fills the room and he whispers, "I knew that, pet."

"Then show me," I retort.
