A treasured win

A precious day has come at last,
It reduces the failures of the past.
Some thought that I could never succeed,
Now I've achieved it my feelings are freed.

All the time spent working day and night,
Has given me a feeling of strength and might.
It will prove to some I win when I try,
Some will applaud and some will cry.

That visionary idea from where did it come,
It was doubted by others and hated by some.
This was one idea I would not let go,
I could make it work that I had to show.

The idea has paid off I've found success,
Now it is time my feelings to express.
These emotions are too strong to hold within,
For I have achieved a treasured win.
