The World Trade Centre struck by a plane,
The top fourty story's are now aflame.
The world is in shock with the TV scenes,
Everyone asking what the accident means.

While we are watching here comes another plane,
Where is it going will it strike the Tower again.
As the plane flies into the second tower,
The building is shrouded with a dust shower.

As these pictures stream around the world,
Tears are flowing with feelings unfurled.
Who would do this but a group of terrorists,
This is World War Three say the pessimists.

Another plane hits the Pentagon more hate and fear,
Around the world most cry yet others start to cheer.
A nation stares in shock a world waits for more news,
Many lives have surely been lost what else can we lose.

An accident it was not the planes had been hijacked,
It was with these flying bombs America they attacked.
Suicide bombers who were willing to die for their cause,
But did they think of the reaction it would cause.

We are all angry of that there is no doubt,
We want revenge on them is what they shout.
Before we act take time to think it through,
Be sure of the target is what we must do.

Some religion is sure to get the blame,
For America being put to the flame.
But all religions preach love not hate,
But these lunatics did not hesitate.

Death and destruction was their ultimate aim,
Will the peace loving world ever be the same.
All religions have joined hands in a prayer,
For those who died on land and in the air.

United we stand with the suffering and pain,
We must not let it happen not ever again.
May your souls rest in peace those who died,
Seek and find solace those who have survived.
