A Christmas Poem

That special time is drawing near,
Christmas Day that comes once a year.
The day that Jesus Christ was born,
In a crib on that special morn.

Mary and Joseph his guardians to be,
God had sent his Son the world to see.
Early in the beginning there were Adam and Eve,
They were given a faith in which to believe.

Three wise men were sent the baby to see,
A star to guide them as they traveled Galilee.
His Son he sent to help us understand,
To show and guide us on this land.

To Moses, ten commandments he did give,
These rules to follow a good life to live.
believe or not open your heart,
To heal this world a good place to start.

This time called Christmas a time of love,
To thank Our Father in Heaven above.
A time to thank Jesus who was our Saviour,
and a time to fix our worldly behaviour.

Christmas time what does it mean,
not what we think or so it would seem.
It is a day to give thanks and pray,
A time to say thank you Lord for every day.
