Dreaming of you

While I lay sleeping in my bed,
Seeing all those pictures in my head.
Like a kaleidoscope green, yellow and blue,
But the best picture I see is the one of you.

How can it be true for I am only dreaming,
Can't I understand what is this meaning.
You are so far away but close in my mind,
I think of your touch your voice so kind.

I cannot accept that we are so far apart,
But there is a place for you in my heart.
I lay here dreaming of the times we meet,
I remember you smiling oh so sweet.

For all my sins you forgive them all,
Because you are mine I walk so tall.
My chest it swells with pride for you,
How I love you and all the things you do.

Your sweet smile the sight of it I miss,
And how I long for just one little kiss.
They say you're young but these things we will do,
'Cause my Daughter I really do love you.
