They said that we're too different it will never last,
But what do they know forget the past.
Our love will overcome whatever may me,
All that matters is you and me.

Our love started as a kind of joke,
Who would believe it could the other folk.
The love just grew or so it would appear,
Our friendship bringing our hearts near.

Was it because of my times of despair,
I needed someone who would care.
I was full of sadness you were there for me,
Now I feel better you are still there I see.

Will we pass the test of time who knows,
Who can tell do you think it shows.
Will we walk through the desert sands,
Till the end of time forever holding hands.

Will our love ever come to be,
Shall it emerge for everyone to see.
Forever in love that would be nice,
Will it ever be as we are fire and ice.
