Forgiveness

Can you forgive maybe even forget,
I hope you can and have no regret.
I made a mistake as people do,
And now I don't want to lose you.

A second chance is what I need,
To get a chance do I have to plead.
Please forgive me I ask of you,
What more can I say or do.
