The Next Millennium

The Next Millennium

Soon the Millennium will come to be,
Then what will happen to you and me.
When this new era it does start,
We must look within in our heart.

Mother Earth she has been good to Mankind,
It is time to repair the faults we find.
The Ozone layer a hole we did make,
We must restore it for our childrens sake.

All the wars and fighting accross the land,
Let's stop them and live together hand in hand.
For the poor and homeless we must build shelter,
Before in the noon heat they do swelter.

In the rivers we pollute the fish do die,
We must keep our rivers as blue as the sky.
The great forests we cut to supply wood,
We do not replace them as quick as we should.

The poisons and sprays insects they kill,
The food chain broken the land is still.
We are killing this world and quickly too,
Will we be here for the next Millennium too.
