He was the best pal that I ever had,
That great guy I called my Dad.
When I had troubles he was there for me,
How I love my Dad he was all I want to be.
When I was young with me he would sit and play,
While playing sport he would watch even on a Saturday.
If I got hurt who was there to comfort and care,
It would be my Dad, how I miss him now he's not there.
You were on this earth for sixty-three short years,
I saw you in so much pain through my tears.
The last few days I want to forget but that's not fair,
'Cause through all my bad times you were there.
All the good times I remember them well,
And the sad times too like when from my bike I fell.
The laughs and jokes the were so much fun,
I feel really proud to be called your Son.
But no longer are you here now we are apart,
But there will always be a place for you in my heart.
There is nothing more I wish but for you to see,
Back on earth with me and your loving family.
