Party night

The party is over the night at an end,
We had a chance to meet a friend.
Before we had only seen the name,
Now we've seen the face we feel the same.

At first things started off pretty slow,
As the drink flowed we started to let go.
Some began the night sat in a corner,
As time wore on things got warmer.

We drank we ate around the table we sat,
And all the time we continued to chat.
Smiles were not just things on the screen,
They were real if you see what I mean.

To those that were there I say thank you,
Those who were not come next time please do.
This party was for everyone those from 24,
You must all come next time so there will be more.
