Quiet days, quiet ways

All days are not the same they tend to vary,
Some are good some are sad some even scary.
We all need time to be on our own,
To sort out our problems all alone.

There are days when we wander down the street,
Not really thinking or wanting anyone to meet.
Just strolling along with our thoughts in our head,
Just wondering where would I rather be instead.

Some problems we see all in the mind,
Sometimes we try to be too kind.
To help others with problems in their life,
And all we do is to cause more strife.

To be left alone is all that we need,
Some people find it hard this hint to heed.
They will not listen to the things we say,
For all we need is quiet days and quiet ways
