Sisters are family you cannot choose them,
But you would be sorry if you did lose them.
Sometimes they are a nuisance and often a pest,
But then they are nice better than the rest.
When they are near you wish you were apart,
When they are afar you miss them in your heart.
When you are young you wish you were the one and only,
Then you get older and start to feel quite lonely.
When we are together all we do is fight,
But let someone hurt them they will get a fright.
When asked "Your Sister?" that you will deny,
If they are in trouble even you will cry.
Then they get married and move far away,
How are they doing on your mind it does play.
You never lose your sister to another,
All you do is to gain a brother.
You may never show that love them you do,
Once in a while it pays to say "Sis, I love you."
At times they are the enemy often the friend,
Whatever you do love your sister 'til the end.
