Thank you my friends

I want to thank you just for being you,
For everything you say and everything you do.
What would I do if you were not here,
What would happen if you were not near.

In times of trouble you need a friend,
One who will help until the end.
Where will I find one where do I go,
Into the lobby this I do know.

Friends there are plenty too many to name,
In sorrow or joy they will help all the same.
There is always time to help someone out,
You will not have trouble no need to shout.

There are guys and girls ladies and men,
They are of all ages from sixty to ten.
We are like family have good days and bad,
Sometimes we are happy and others sad.

One thing is for sure you will get a friends ear,
Distance does not matter whether far or near.
How did it all start it was just a hobby,
Now all I want are my friends in the lobby.
