Why do we judge people for what we see,
And not what they are whatever that may be.
We are not all perfect we can all make mistakes,
These should be forgiven whatever it takes.
We see a challenged person and treat them with contempt,
Why do we do it are they really that different.
It could be you trying to eat without arms,
The looks we give and the self esteem it harms.
As the saying goes "there for the grace of God go I",
If you see a challenged person look them in the eye.
It could be you confined to a wheelchair,
Next time you meet show them that you care.
How would you feel if it happened in your family,
Don't think it can't there is always a possibility.
So the next time you want to turn and look away,
The challenge is to talk you could make someones day.
