The first time

It was the first time that I saw your face,
That I fell in love with your beauty and grace.
Your lips were so full your eyes ever so blue,
It was then that I wanted to be forever with you.

It was the first time that we kissed,
When I realised what for so long I had missed.
I thought I had done it all that was not true,
For now I had everything I'd found you.

It was the first time that we discovered each other,
We saw that we were meant to be together forever.
Our hearts beat as one they way it should be,
We were truly in love anyone could see.

It was the first time that I made love to you,
I saw what true love was you saw it too.
As we enjoyed each other all night long,
These feelings of love bound us so strong.

It was the first time that you gave birth,
That I really knew why I was on this earth.
When I saw the little child it was all clear,
Here was our child yours and mine dear.

It was the first time that we were apart,
