A simple glance was all it took,
All was revealed with just one look.
Within your eyes I could see the fire,
That smouldering look filled with desire.

Our lips on fire with passion aflame,
After today will we ever be the same.
A secret wish a desire stated,
A secret love for ever elated.

A moment in time suspended together,
This wanton feeling will it last forever.
Our souls are united as one spirit,
Will our love ever reach its limit.

There are many colours in loves bouquet,
A simple rainbow puts them on display.
Emotions are defined inhibitions undone,
Trapped in a state of love living as one.

The test of time will we withstand,
Who cares if the others don't understand.
Our lives confused and our feelings too,
Emotions abound but still remain true.

Next time around will it be the same.
Love is forever not a schoolyard game.
