This is the truth?

Oh John Robbie it's gone and happened again,
Now you have done it with a hijacked plane.
You interupt the show to give us the news,
Yousef Abramjee is there let's get his views.

A lone gunman with hostages on a DC3,
A hijack at Wonderboom how could this be.
Is it real let's get the official line,
It's true there could be 9 lives on the line.

Even the eyewitnesses continue the story,
Gunshots and explosions it could get gory.
The Task Force are coming to save the day,
These are the things the Police do say.

The world is informed by Sky and CNN,
It's all happening in South Africa again.
More Police reinforcements and Paramedics arrive,
To ensure the hostages are kept alive.

After two hours Jackie Selebi is at the gate,
I don't know why he looks so angry and irrate.
He asks us "Why are you here who is your source,
We are only here for training of course".

The press stare and gape at what they hear,
All the confusion caused and public fear.
Is it fair is the question that they ask,
To find the truth that is their task.

Then the blame is given to the Press,
It is their fault for all the mess.
Around the world To the ordinary folk,
We in South Africa are the latest joke.

Will we ever believe the Police again,
What other lies will we get from the Captain.
Jackie Selebie now looks like a clown,
