There are people of many colours and nations too,
But everyone is different just like me and you.
Some tall, some short not one of us is the same,
If we were all clones wouldn't that be a shame.
With all the different cultures and the unusual styles,
Some things stay the same a face lit up with a smile.
It matters not what colour you are the hurt stays the same,
When some unthinking person calls you a horrible name.
Our blood and our bones they look the same to me,
It is only the fools that this cannot see.
What a better world for our children this would be,
If racists were gone a word that should not be.
People are all different shapes and sizes,
We never look the same even in disguises.
There are blondes and redheads even brunettes too,
Some eyes green or brown some are blue.
How would it be if we all looked alike,
Never being able to tell if it is Steve or Mike.
All the same looks all the same hair,
How would you know for whom to care.
