Zimbabwe nightlife

Hello you said as I walked up to the door,
Were you talking to me I was not sure.
What did you want or need from me,
A pretty young girl that I could see.

What could see want from me,
This young girl alone in Harare.
Was she in trouble or afraid of someone,
So I asked can I help what can be done.

This man she said won't let me in the door,
The Bellman I thought I was not sure.
They won't let me if I am only one,
I need to get in so will you be that someone.

The Bellman says she has a reputation,
A lady of the night in this African nation.
What ideas was she trying to put in my head,
All I needed was some sleep in my comfy bed.

Listen I said I don't need you in my life,
I'm married with two children and a wife.
I might be alone in this land called Zimbabwe,
But there is no way you are making money from me.

So I left her there stood in the entrance way,
Let her find someone else with whom to earn her pay.
My love can wait until I am alone,
With my lovely wife when I am back home.
