Brimstone #4 by Ryan Hunt

Ezekiel Stone

A New York City detective killed in the line of duty, Stone was sent to Hell after killing his wife's rapist. Now, sent back to Earth 15 years after his death, he must send all 113 escaped souls back to Hell by shooting them through the eyes (windows to the soul). However, if he is sent back, then he will suffer even worse torments in Hell.

Lucifer

Also known as the devil, Lucifer (which means the Morning Star) was once an angel, until he led a rebellion against God. Because of this, he and his followers were cast out of Heaven and given Hell to rule over. Now, after 113 of his souls have escaped, Lucifer has sent Stone to Earth in order to retrieve them.
