Scarlet Spider #8 by Russ Anderson

Scarlet Spider

Cloned from the cells of Spider-Man, Ben Reilly has the comparative strength, speed, and agility of a spider, as well as the ability to cling to walls and a "spider sense" which warns him of danger. He was killed at the hands of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin, but recently resurrected under mysterious circumstances. Scarlet has relocated to Baltimore to try and figure out who he can be outside the shadow of Spider-Man.

The Headsman

Wielding a energy-enhanced axe that can chop through steel, the Headsman battled Spider-Man twice, early in the web-slinger's career, before vanishing. The hoverdisk he gets around on is an early prototype of the Green Goblin's bat glider.
