Dear Comrade Pedro: Thank you for the documents - I shall peruse them soon. On a casual glance, I notice that my family name is listed as "Hangrove" with an "n" and not "Hargrove" with an "r". I am concerned that this might be a stumbling block, since bureaucrats can be so hooptitious (I sometimes wonder about what happens on the other end, when Pedro reads stuff like this. Does he just shrug? Does he try and look it up?) when it comes to official documents. In regards to your message from yesterday, I did indeed have a good trip. Bolivia is lovely this time of year, and I was fortunate to meet with several of my friends, as well as a group of the revolutionaries I told you about previously. Plans on that front march on in earnest. There is one thing that troubles me, however. I know you are a Christian, and I don't hold that against you. But in view of such outdated concepts like Easter, I really wish you would look at what certain prominent Socialists have said about religion. From the pen of Karl Marx: "The criticism of religion disillusions man to make him think and act and shape his reality like a man who has been disillusioned and has come to reason, so that he will revolve round himself and therefore round his true sun. Religion is only the illusory sun which revolves round man as long as he does not revolve round himself." I will contact you soon. Be well, my brother. Regards, Hargrove
