My Dear Dr. Pedro: Sorry for the delay, but I've spent the last few days in a hospital, recovering from a gunshot wound and a broken ankle. Nothing to worry about really, as they are almost a common occurrence in my line of work. Unfortunately, the medication I was on left me semi-coherent at best. (This was a gambit in case I couldn't cobble up a passport - the next few messages would be whatever Hargrove-esque ravings seemed appropriate) Anyway, I will be able to scan and send my UK passport to you in a day or so. How are things progressing on your end? Your Comrade,
Hargrove ps. I hope it doesn't offend you, but I felt I had to include this quote from the great man himself, Karl Marx. I feel it sums up our venture adequately. "If we have chosen the position in life in which we can most of all work for mankind, no burdens can bow us down, because they are sacrifices for the benefit of all; then we shall experience no petty, limited, selfish joy, but our happiness will belong to millions, our deeds will live on quietly but perpetually at work, and over our ashes will be shed the hot tears of noble people." |
