Dear Senator:
Thank you very much for your email. Indeed, security
is the cornerstone of any business transaction.
I may be able to help you with an increased security
system for your computer, if you are interested.

Luisa sidesteps the issue
Dearest Donald,
Your mail has been received with so many thanks.
I would like to know when you will be travelling to
Amsterdam to pick up the consignment.
Best regards
Dear Senator:
My most grovelling apologies - I thought I had sent
you my travel plans.
I am leaving on Wednesday the 24th on American
Airlines flight 1046 from Albuquerque to Chicago. I
then transfer to United Airlines to Toronto, Canada,
and then to KLM flight 692 to Amsterdam-Shiphol. I
arrive Thursday the 25th. (carelessly omitting the fact
that
I arrive at some gawdawful early hour)
I'm not looking forward to the flight itself, since it
will be long, but I am buoyed by the prospect of
finally meeting you. Will you be at the airport, or
will you send a representative?
Regards,
Don Morgan

Dear Mr. Lockman:
Despite not hearing any response from you, here again
are my travel plans:
I will be arriving at Amsterdam-Shiphol on Thursday
the 25th on KLM flight 692. Because of my business
partner's need for confidentiality ("Santa Claus
without the ho-ho-ho's" as we say in the covert ops
business) (suuuuure we do) I will also need to maintain a quiet
presence in Amsterdam.
Therefore, when I arrive whoever is there to pick me
up will need to hold a sign saying "I'm from Area 51".
(Maybe not as outrageous a sign as some baiters have
requested, but it is in character)
If I see any other variation of that sign, or my
name, I will not identify myself, but will proceed to
my hotel.
I hope this is all in order.
Regards,
Don Morgan

And a second message to Luisa
> Have you notified the security company about your
> travelling schedule?
Yes, I have but I will mention it to Mr. Lockman
again.
Honestly, Luisa, I'm not sure how much we should trust
him. Will he be sending someone to meet me, or will
you? Since we are trying to keep this as confidential
as possible I would prefer to know in advance.
In fact, to avoid any problems, and to maintain a
covert appearance, here is what I propose: Whoever
comes to the airport to pick me up must carry a sign
saying "I'm from Area 51". If I do not see that sign,
I will not identify myself to anyone, but will instead
proceed directly to the hotel.
Regards,
Don Morgan
