KINDS OF PRAYER

FARD : Are Prayers which are clearly ordained by Allah therefore are compulsory.

WAJIB : Also compulsory but second In Importance to Fard.

SUNNAT & MUAQIDA : Introduced by Holy Prophet and which He ordered to be performed wlthout a break.

SUNNAT GHAIR HUAQIDA : Introduced by Holy Prophet and performed with occasional break.

NAFL : Are extra and/or optional prayers

PRAYER TIMES

FAJR : From Dawn till before Sunrise.

ZOHR : When the sun crosses the Zenith towards west till halfway beeween noon & Sunset.

ASR : From halfway between noon & sunset till before sunset.

MAGRIB : Immediately after sunset till dlsappeannce of red sign in the horizon

ESHA : And hour & half afrer Maghrib till before dawn.

TIMES FORBIDDEN FOR PRAYER

When the sun is rising.
When the sun is at it's zenith.
When the sun is setting.
