Paul-I love this place. Its a big reason why I like going
to the Senator which is close by. I try to take in a matinee and
get lunch over at Gregs. These bagels are fabulous, if you can
get one fresh you will be shocked. I didnt know that you could
just eat a bagel by itself and enjoy it so much till I was handed
on here. WOW! Warm, soft, flavorful. Anything on the menu is good
(and its a pretty big menu) but I am partial to their chicken
salad. They put on generous portions and they usually make it
pretty sweet (sometimes it depends on the version like they have
a great curry version which isnt as sweet) and there it penty
of chunky chicken instead of random filler ingredience. I love
the service here too. Its very friendly and if there is a long
line they keep it moving often in a colorful way. One thing to
be careful of is that sometime they keep random hours. For example,
if Greg and his wife need some quality time they'll take a vacation
(they'll post a warning way ahead of time). I have to say that
I love that. Sure its a little inconvienent for the customer but
knowing that someone can run a successful business and still make
time for important personal time gives me hope and it warms the
heart. So if you ever get the chance a perfect afternoon is lunch
a Greg's and walk across the way to catch a movie at the senator
to digest a great flick and a great bagel
