Paul- All in all
this place was pretty good. I went here one day with my mom and
sister after a ballet recital. When I first went in I was taken
back a little by the fact that just about everyone there was over
70. It might have had something to do with it being a sunday dinner...odd.
Once you get over that you are very impressed by the wide range
the menu offers from many fish and meat dishes to tons of different
crab themed meals. I went for the MD crab soup which was not spicey
enough for me but had tons of lump meat. My mom and sister split
some average cream of crab. The main dishes came with run of the
mill salads. I had the pan fried soft shell crab. Based on my
dish alone the Peppermill was very disappointing. They were on
the small side and soggy. My mom had some pretty good salmon and
my sister had some tastey crab pasta. Besides the old people everywhere
and the soggy crabs I have to say the place held its own because
of its menu and its friendly wait staff that keeps you well breaded
and watered.
