Helping Others Pray Everywhere
Mission of the H.O.P.E. Center
For me prayer is a surge of the heart, a simple look towards heaven. It is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy." ~ St. Therese of Lisieux
In the busyness of life it is often hard to find time to pray for ourselves, those we love, and for the world in which we live. The goal of the H.O.P.E. Center is to unite others in prayer, regardless of religious, social or ethnic background. All are welcome to send intentions to the prayer volunteers who will remember them to Our Heavenly Father each day. This ministry was dedicated to our beloved Catholic saint, St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower on Oct. 1, 2003. Therese sought to find God by her "Little Way," and to teach others that "when we do not give up praying, confidence works miracles."
PRAYERS OF HOPE

Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into tempataion, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Mercy Prayer

You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. O blood and water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in you.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, haver mercy on us and on the whole world.

Jesus, King of Mercy, I Trust in You! Amen.

Ave Maria

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary,
Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Peace Prayer

Lord, make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be loved, as to love;
to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is ingiving that we receive, in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
