I was looking at some notes I made in 1994 about planting.
A person will reap what they plant. Physical or spiritual.
If we plant in the fields of the Spirit we will gather the harvest of eternal life! So do not give up doing good and we will reap the harvest.
The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self control.
There is no law against these things. Those who belong to the Father and His Son have put to death their human nature, passion and desires.
The Spirit has given us life; it must also control our lives
Human nature shows its self in... worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies, they fight, become jealous, angry and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups, they are envious and get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. Those who do these things will not be in the kingdom of the Father. Taken from Gal. 5:19 and Gal. 6:7
We need to be careful of what kind of garden we are planting.
One time years ago I bought some plants. I had never bought tomato plants. I bought some that looked like what I thought was tomato plants. So I planted them. When they came up they were flowers! It was rather funny. I was disappointed too. With the garden we should plant with our Father we will not be mistaken over what kinds of seeds we are planting as they are clearly described in the scriptures.
