Long ago there was a beautiful and peaceful kingdom on the moon. But there was also another kingdom, known as the Golden Kingdom of Earth, and at the head of this kingdom was the crown prince Endymion. Now, being the crown prince and sworn protector of the Golden Crystal, Endymion had the best of everything. Including the best guardians. The Shitennou, or the 4 Heavanly Kings where the princes guardains. The shitennou were composed of Kunzite, Zoicite, Nephrite and Jedeite. Jedeite, at 22, was the second youngest of the guardians and the second or third in command. He was the ruler of the Eastern Kingdom, which is what we would now call Asia. Though nothin is known for sure, it is believed that he had a relationship with the princess of Mars. They would have kept this a secret because Mars was a part of the Silver Millenium, and the Moon Kingdom was not on good political terms with the Golden Kingdom. On earth there was a young aristocrat named Beryl who was in love with, and maybe even bethrothed to Prince Endymion. He, however, did not love her and rejected her advances. Beryl became insanly jelous and resorted to spying on the prince. One fateful night she saw him with Princess Serenity, heir to the Moon Kingdom. It is not written how, but Beryl came in contact with the demon Metallia, a Child of Chaos. They began to work together to fill the hearts and souls of the people of earth with hate. The 4 heavanly kings, being human, also fell under Beryls spell and became the leaders of Beryls Armies of Darkness. Soon a succesful assault was led on the Moon Kingdom. Endymion, fighting for the moon, was killed in battle and Princess Serenity took her own life after she watched him die. When the battle was over and the Moon had fallen, Queen Serenity used the power of the Silver Imperium Crytsal to banish Metallia and kill beryl and the 4 heavanly kings. With no kingdom left the queen used the last of her power and life to send her daughter, Endymion, the Senshi and Heavanly Kings to new future on earth. No one knows how but Beryl was also sent to the future... |
