| Rei and Makoto have alot of things in common and Rei even tells her in the 'RainTree' story that they are kindred spirits. I think Rei see's them this way because they were both hurt by the one that they loved and have had to go through most of thier lives without any parents.(Unless you count Rei's father, and I wouldn't) Rei feels comfortable talking to Makoto about her trouble with Kaidou and Rei doesn't usually tell people of her problem because she thinks it would make her weak. Rei and Makoto respect eachothers streangths and weaknesses and don't prosecute eachother.In the Manga I think Rei would consider Makoto her best friend after Minako. |
