Elmo in Disneyland?
By Nakita Graham
Std. 2L

Elmo, a short-nose bear, lived in the blueberry bushes near the forest.  He ate berries for breakfast.   In fact he ate berries all day long.  The rain had gone for some time now and a group of other bears came out to play with Elmo.

Elmo did not want to play.  He wanted to go to sleep.   Elmo was a very bored bear indeed.  He ate and slept all day.  “What do you like to do? Why don’t you come out to play with us?”  Buky asked Elmo.  Buky was the biggest of the bears.  He also had the largest ears.  “This place is too boring for me! I wish there could be more excitement,” Elmo replied.  “I’ve always dreamed of a place far, far away.”  “It’s called Disneyland!”  There you can do much more than eat berries.  There is always lots of fun at Disneyland.

Elmo then packed a large three-coloured bag with berries, enough clothes, and a picture of his best friend.  He said good-bye to all the other bears and was on his way to Disneyland.
