Ref: Kajir Restraint

Karian, Notes Section 04G

There are many forms of restraints used in Gor, but it is also important to understand why they are used. Yes, a woman can be made more exciting by the restraints that are put upon her, but beyond that, in Gorean philosophy, restraints are used to impress beyond any doubt, a woman's helplessness and vulnerability to the Master. And of course, it holds her quite securely in any position that the Master desires the kajira to be emplaced in.
