October 29, 2005; This was a beautiful night to race. Decend temperatures, no clouds and the track was in fantastic shape. So what does Jim do? He leaves me and the car HOME! Of course there is a logical explanation, maybe not asane one, but logical. JB our regular announcer had a previous engagement for this weekend and another real announcer couldn't be found. Well Terry our track promoter asked Jim to substitute and you know old motor mouth said yes. So where did that leave me? Home that's where. I mean he could have taken me along for support, right? Well anyway this will change next week with the 2 day $10,000 to Win Super Street Shootout show. We run our heat racs Friday night and the Feature Saturday night and for us there is an increased purse too. So come on out both nights at the Doc' for a lot of fun and great racing. Have a Scooby Dooo week!!
Well Someone has seeminglly forgotten to update the last 2 races we ran and really they were not what you would call spectacular. Came up with a 7th and a 6th. Jim was playing with a couple ideas on setup that normally would have helped but with the cooler temperatures we've been having didn't do what he wanted. So we have parked the car for the rest of the year. We're anticapating some rule changes at Modoc and I-20. So until both trackcome out with their rules we're just gonna sit back and take a little time off and Jim can catch up on a few honey do's that need to be taken care of. But check back occassionally as I'll still do updates on Jim's experiences with the car over the off season. Until then have a "Scooby Do Day!"
