Over the past few years I have collected a number of pictures of other 228s. Some I have taken myself, others have been sent to me, others I have snarfed off of the Internet. I don't have any of my car here, since the rest of my website is riddled with pictures of my 228.

Unfortunately, when I updated my website in October 2003 I accidentally deleted all the commentary I had developed that went along with each picture. I have tried to recreate it here as best as possible.

This is the original 228 photo provided by Maserati when they announced the 228.

This is an exploded view of the car taken from the owner's manual. Sorry about the crappy quality, I could not get it any better.
This is a scan of a picture in a 228 brochure that I have. Note the lack of body moldings / rub strips on the side, the body coloured mirrors, the slightly different screen on the lower grille, and the lack of foglights.
This is one that I saw on eBay.  It has been offered up numerous times on eBay. I don't think it has ever broken the $10,000 barrier.  Note the non-standard hood ornament, as well as the additional vents put in the hood to aid in cooling.  I believe that at one point in its life this one also had OZ Racing wheels put on it.
Here is another one that I saw on eBay in April 2003. It was a no sale that was later sold in a private transaction in So. Cal. The gold wheels don't do anything for me and it looks like the rear shocks are gone. The car looks good in black though.
This one is from Switzerland.
The car looks great in this shade of blue. Looks like the mirrors are black, but the paint job seems to be 'two tone', with the body below the side rub strip being a more silver colour.
Another one looking good in black, with the white interior.
This one is definitely in a unique colour!
This one was sent to me in early 2003 by someone who was looking to sell the car. I don't recall where they were located, but the car looks good in white! Note that the car has black mirrors and a rub strip on the side.
Here is a red one that was at Concorso Italiano in 1999.  It was beautiful and partly what inspired me to do the work I did on mine!
Another one from eBay in the summer of 2002, Blue Silver same as mine, but with the good looking white interior.
MIE had this one for sale in September of 2002. The car looks quite similar to mine now that I have had all my work done. Blue Silver paint, black mirrors, no rub strip, upgraded rims - but a blue interior?????! I think the car looks great from this angle.
Here is 'the other' local 228 that I snapped at a North Vancouver car show in 2001 while it was between owners.  Very very nicely kept by an elderly gentleman here in town, then sold on to Vancouver Island. (Update in 2005, a third 228 is in town, imported from the US by a local guy.)
Another grey one with a black interior. A twin of my car before I started working on it. Concorso Italiano 2002.

Another twin of mine, has the strut tower too. In gorgeous shape. At Concorso Italian 2003. May be the same car as the one right above?

At Concorso Italiano 2003.  I am wondering if this is the same car I have shown above from the 1999 Concorso Italiano? It is in gorgeous shape also.

At Concorso Italiano 2003. Not quiet as sharp as the other two that were there in 2003. Has the hood vents also.

On eBay January 2005. Nice blue colour.

Additionally, MIE has five pictures on their website of a red 228 in Seattle  that has had a bunch of work done to it. This car was the subject of an article in the MIE club magazine several years ago. It was put up for sale in 2002 and I understand it went to Florida where the engine was damaged and replaced with a standard US spec engine.

I will add more pictures as I acquire them over time.
