The 4th edition of Kingston's LIGHT PLAYS TRICKS, a short film, video and new media festival, has closed and we would like to thank everyone who helped us raise money for The Child Development Centre at Hotel Dieu Hospital and make the festival a complete success. SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS Thank you for making so many special considerations for this crazy festival, including running around at the last minute for that extra cable or that little adapter thing that was missing, for staying "open" for us, keeping us fed (and fed well. For the filmmakers who attended, many of you were gracious enough to help out (which really wasn't called for).

Born in Colombia and now based in New York, Arenas has shown her work in South and North America, as well as in Europe. . A Space is proud to host this exhibition of photography and installation as part of the Mayworks Festival of Working People and the Arts. Both artists, David Carrington and Florencia Berinstein, are members of CUPE. Mayworks Festival of Working People and the Arts is Canada's largest and oldest labour arts festival.
