Czocha



A castle situated near Sucha on the high bank of the river Kwisa. Originally a fortified castle built for the dukes of Jawor and Świdnica in the first half of the 14th century. Since the mid-15th century owned by the von Hoditz family. The castle received its present appearance in the years 1910-1914, when it was remodeled according to a design by the famous German architect and conservator Bodo Ebhardt who managed to create a picturesque modern residence with forms imitating various patterns of historical architecture.
