Ever since I can remember, I had the ability to see ghosts. I encounter them everywhere I go. Just like in the movie, The Sixth Sense, "I see dead people."

I recently moved to Seymour, CT after I graduated from college. My apartment complex sits off the street and down the hill from a group of three very old houses. Ever since I moved in, I have been getting "strange" feelings and most recently, I have seen the apparition of a small boy roaming around the apartment. The boy is between the ages of 6 and 10 and appears to be wearing a white button-down shirt and a tan colored vest (remember those old movies where the boy stands on the corner, selling newspapers and yelling, "Extra, extra, read all about it"? That's the outfit).

I have watched the boy follow my boyfriend into the bathroom as he went in to take a shower. The boy has actually gotten into my bed and lay on my shoulder. I could actually feel a force pressing down on the left side of my body, but I couldn't see anyone. Most recently, I watched as the boy stood in my bedroom doorway and looked at the front wall.

A friend of mine did some research on the internet and found out that Seymour was ravaged by a terrible flood in August of 1955. Most of the town had been washed away and many deaths had been reported.

I am guessing that this boy was killed in the flood and lived in one of the houses at the top of the hill, in front of my apartment building. I believe he was starring at the wall, trying to find his house and since our building was built after the houses were, the wall is blocking the view to his house and he can't find his way home.

I see this boy every once in a while in my bedroom. He never harms anyone; he just makes sure that I know he is there.
