These are some of the pictures that my family and family friends have taken for the occasion of my fathers last day of driving trains at CSR Victoria Mill. All pictures are of the loco Adelaide. The thumbnails for each picture will open in a new window.

Heading out past home.

Note: this brakevan is usually paired with the loco Gowrie, but at the end of the 2001 season, with breakdowns all over the place, there was lots of brakevan swapping.

At the end of the run and heading back in. This is taken at Sembawang siding, otherwise known as the Big White Dog. (Photos by Bob Jackson)

At the start of the hill. This is just after where the line starts sloping down towards the Herbert River Bridge. Can be a hairy ride if you can't control the speed. These pictures were taken coming down past Moore's Siding. (Photos by Bob Jackson)

Coming Across The River. (Photos by Bob Jackson)

More of the River - From the Cab (Photos by Quentin Tomkies)

Coming Up From the River - The Flood Gates (Photos by Bob Jackson)

And finally, back past home again. (Photos by Jennifene Grant)
